World Views

At Lingham, our goal is to develop their understanding of the world, encourage critical thinking about their own beliefs, and prepare them for life in a diverse society.

Our Religious Education (RE) curriculum supports pupils in developing an understanding of a range of religions and worldviews, while encouraging respect, empathy, and open-mindedness. Children explore beliefs, practices, and traditions through stories, discussion, and reflective activities that are appropriate to their age and experience. The curriculum encourages pupils to ask thoughtful questions, make connections between different faiths, and reflect on their own values and beliefs. Through RE, we aim to help children develop a sense of identity, appreciation of diversity, and the skills needed to live thoughtfully and respectfully in a multicultural society.
