Enjoy! Aspire! Achieve! Now and in the future…

Welcome to Lingham Primary School!
Lingham Primary is a community which is committed to providing a secure and caring environment, in which all are challenged and enabled to achieve their potential.
At Lingham Primary we do our utmost to make every child and adult feel that they are an important part of our school. All of the staff at our school work hard to make lessons interesting and help each child be happy, successful and aspirational in all that they do. As a result, our pupils are keen to learn and well behaved.
We are proud of who we are and what we do for the children and families of the Moreton area. We continually work to make further improvements to ensure that all children have the best opportunities to attain, achieve and enjoy their school life so that they grow up with the skills required to face the challenges of the 21st century!

Lingham news!
The Lingham Way:
Our Behaviour Curriculum aims to teach children our High Five Character Habits and prepare them to be good citizens in the future. At Lingham, we want exemplary behaviour to be an unspoken expectation. We ‘make it easy to behave and hard not to’ through:
Teaching, not telling, children how to behave;
Ensuring all adults are calm, consistent and fair in their response to behaviour;
Focusing explicitly on positive behaviour: recognising, describing and explaining what we want to see;
Adapting our approaches, where needed, for vulnerable children with additional needs
Having clear and concise rules, routines, rewards and consequences that everyone follow
Lingham’s Learning Tree:
Each class has a Lingham Learning Tree. All children will start the day as a ‘leaf’.
If they have gone above and beyond our rules and expectations, they will move to ‘crown’. If a child needs to make a change to their behaviour, they will move to ‘branch’, however, they will have the opportunity to move back to ‘leaf’ if they make the right choice. If they do not make the right choice, they will move to ‘trunk’ and this will result in learning outside of the classroom. You will be notified if your child moves to the ‘trunk’ of the tree. Further details about our behaviour curriculum and rewards and sanctions are available below

Don’t take our word for it, here are some things our parents have to say about us :)
We can’t say enough good things about this school. Our daughter went from being nervous about to school to begging us to sign her up for after school clubs! She has become so much more confident, more independent, and totally in love with everything she tries in school.
— Rebecca M., Parent
“
Sending our child to residential camp for the first time was a big step, but we knew right away they were in great hands. The teachers and assitants create such a welcoming, safe space in school and our son felt supported every step of the way on the trip and had an absolute blast every single day.

“Lingham was exactly what our daughter needed. She has become more excited to take on new challenges. We have seen how much she now believes in herself and we’re so thankful for the amazing role models she found in school."
