2-Year-Old Funding

15 Hours free childcare per week
Term Time Only (38 Weeks)

Child eligible term after 2^nd Birthday

Criteria includes:

·  Universal Credits and Tax Credits

·  Looked after children

·   Child in receipt of DLA

3 and 4-Year-Old Funding

15 Hours Universal free childcare

All 3 and 4-year-olds eligible regardless of household income, the term after 3^rd Birthday

Please contact your chosen provider to discuss their admissions policy.

15 Hours Extended free childcare
(30 Hours for working parents)

Parents/carers must be working over 16 hours per week each and earning a minimum equivalent of national minimum wage but less than £100,000 per year.

15 Hours Extended free childcare for working foster parents
All term time only (38 weeks)

If all foster parents are working outside of their foster arrangement, and the social worker agrees

Disability Access Fund

(DAF)

Funding for early years providers including Foundation 1 classes, to support children with disabilities or special education needs. It aids access to early years places by supporting providers in making reasonable adjustments or adding resources to their setting.

All 3 and 4-year-olds will be eligible if they meet the following criteria:

· The child is in receipt of 3 and 4-year-old entitlement at an early year’s provider

· The child is in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA).

Schools need to complete a form with parents and provide evidence of Disability Living Allowance (DLA). PVI settings will complete the form with parents and send via the Provider Portal. More info:  www.localofferwirral.org

Inclusive Practice Fund (IPF)

The fund is intended to support early years providers to promote inclusion for children with SEND or additional needs. This could be used for resources, staff CPD, additional staff hours or time to attend meetings.

Child must be in receipt of 3 and 4-year-old Universal funding (discretionary funding for those in receipt of 2-year-olds.

Settings that can apply: day nurseries, pre-schools, nursery unit of an independent school/academy, maintained schools with F1 Classes, childminders.

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)

Funding to support the learning and educational needs of the most disadvantaged children

Term Time Only (38 weeks, 15 hours per week)

Must be in receipt of 3 and 4-year-old Universal funding.

Children are also eligible if:

· They are or have been looked after by a local authority

· Economic criteria (universal credit, tax credits)
